28-08-26 Ruby has come to us from a breeder and is now looking for her forever home. She is a gentle girl who is understandably feeling quite overwhelmed to find herself here at the moment. Despite this, she is a lovely, sweet natured girl who is already showing us little glimpses of her personality.

Ruby loves nothing more than sharing her bed with her kennel friends and cuddling up beside them, so having another kind and confident resident dog in her new home will be very important. We hope having a canine friend by her side will help her to feel safe and give her the confidence to explore her new surroundings. We are told that she needs to be fed separately from other dogs and prefers to have soft food, so this is something her adopters will need to be mindful of.

Ruby is easy to pick up and greets you with a lovely waggy tail, so we don't think it will take her too long to start coming out of her shell once she has had time to settle. She will be looking for a calm and quiet home with adopters who understand that she has lots to learn and who will allow her to settle in at her own pace.

Ruby has never lived in a home before, so everything will be new to her. Her adopters will need to be kind and understanding as she learns all about home life and new skills like house training. She has also started learning about wearing a harness and walking on a lead. This is still very new to her, so she will need plenty more gentle practice and encouragement before she becomes confident with it.

Ruby is a sweet and gentle girl who is already showing us that there is a loving little personality underneath her initial uncertainty. With a quiet home, a kind canine companion and lots of patience and TLC, we hope she will soon discover how wonderful life can be.
