Gwen
29-08-26 Gwen has come into our care from a breeder to find her forever home. She is quite a large girl for her breed, but is absolutely adorable. Gwen is feeling quite overwhelmed by everything at the moment and can be a little unsure when you first meet her, but will shyly approach you for a fuss and has the waggiest little tail.
She will need a calm and quiet home with adopters who will let her settle in at her own pace. We think with time, love and kindness she will soon blossom.
Gwen will need another kind and confident resident dog in her new home to be her friend. Having a canine friend to show her that the world is a safe and happy place will be incredibly important for her, and we feel she will thrive with a lovely doggy companion by her side.
She has never lived in a home before so her adopters will need to be kind and understanding as she settles in and learns all about home life and new skills like house training and how to walk on a lead.
Gwen is a total sweetheart and watching her confidence grow and seeing that once worried tail wag with happiness will be incredibly special.
Gwen has a Grade 2 heart murmur, she doesn't require any medication for this but it is something her adopters and their vet will need to monitor.
