Rhinestone’s Ready: Could You Be Her New Beginning?

Rhinestone is a 6-year-old Cockapoo who came to us from a breeder and has been waiting patiently for well over a year for her forever home. She had never known the comforts of a home before arriving at Many Tears and has spent her time since learning how to trust, play, and love, first in kennels, and now in a long-term foster home.

This gentle girl has made remarkable progress. She is now fully house trained, walks beautifully on a lead, and loves nothing more than long walks and woodland adventures. She even enjoys the occasional muddy run and is showing signs of having good recall in secure areas. Rhinestone thrives on routine and is happiest when surrounded by calm, familiar faces. She greets her foster mum with excitement and joy, shadowing her around the house and offering affection on her own quiet terms.

Rhinestone still has some fears and sensitivities, especially around strangers or in busy, unpredictable environments. Because of this, she is looking for a calm, adult-only home with no visiting children and very few visitors. She’ll need a resident dog, ideally one who enjoys a good game of zoomies and isn’t easily pushed around. While she isn't a lap dog, she will cuddle up on the sofa or bed when she feels safe and chooses to be close.

She’s used to sleeping on the bed, enjoys being brushed (though still prefers her feet not be touched), and doesn’t mind a bath, though she’s not a fan of hairdryers. Rhinestone is not suited to traditional grooming salons just yet, so her adopter should be comfortable with gentle grooming at home or using a calm, in-home grooming service.

Rhinestone is a very special girl who has supported many foster dogs on their journeys. Now, it’s time for her to begin her own. She needs a home with one or two steady, loving humans who will give her the chance to flourish even further. If you have a quiet life, a kind dog, and space in your heart for a dog who will reward patience with trust and loyalty, please consider giving Rhinestone the forever sofa she so deserves.

Rhinestone has had 7 teeth removed since being with us, as well as a lump on the back of her thigh that does not seem to be causing any concern at the moment.
