Beluga – A Year of Progress, a Lifetime of Love Waiting

Beluga is a truly stunning girl with piercing blue eyes and a gentle soul that has been slowly unfolding before our eyes. When she first arrived to us from a breeder, she was a nervous and uncertain pup who struggled to trust people and the world around her. Over time, and with lots of patience, kindness, and the support of her kennel friends, Beluga has blossomed into a dog full of character, playfulness, and love.

These days, Beluga is one of the first to happily greet us at her kennel door each morning. She adores spending time with her doggy companions, sharing toys, food, and space without fuss, and is often found racing around the play yard with them or following her favorite humans once she feels safe. She finds courage and confidence in the company of other dogs, which is why she’ll need a home with at least one kind resident dog to guide her and help her settle.

While Beluga is brave and joyful with dogs, she can still be shy and reserved around new people. Her instinct is to retreat at first, but with time, patience, and gentle encouragement, she shows her true affectionate and loyal side. Once she trusts you, she truly shines.

On walks, Beluga enjoys exploring, but unfamiliar places can make her nervous, and she may freeze or shut down. Because of this, she would love a secure garden where she can run, play, and build confidence at her own pace until she feels more settled with the outside world.

It’s hard to believe that Beluga’s one-year anniversary with us is approaching, she has come so far in that time, yet she is still waiting for her forever family. In the right home, calm, patient, and understanding, Beluga will blossom into the most devoted companion, filling your days with joy, laughter, and love.

Beluga has waited long enough. She needs someone just as much as they need her.
