Tommy is a young, sweet-natured boy who has come to us from a breeder to find the loving home he truly deserves. He has the most endearing little face that’s full of character, and once you meet him, he’s sure to capture your heart.

When Tommy first arrived, he was understandably unsure and overwhelmed by the big changes in his life. However, in just a short time, we’ve already seen his confidence begin to grow. Each morning he now greets us with a happy little wiggle and is always pleased to see a friendly face. He’s making steady progress with his harness training, he can pause if something feels a bit scary, but with a gentle voice and a bit of encouragement, he’s learning that the world isn’t such a frightening place.

Tommy loves the company of other dogs and would be happy to have another a kind and confident resident dog in his new home to be his friend. He gets along beautifully with his kennel friends and it’s lovely to watch his personality begin to shine when he’s around them. In the right circumstances we would consider homing him as an only dog as long as his adopters had plenty of time to spend with him.

As Tommy has never lived in a home before, everything will be new to him. His adopters will need to give him time and patience while he learns about things like house training and general home life. He could live with kind, gentle children who understand that he will need time to settle and find his paws.

Our vets have noted that Tommy has a right patella that may be prone to luxation. With careful exercise and muscle development this may improve over time, but adopters should be aware that if treatment is needed in the future, it is unlikely to be covered by insurance.

Tommy is a truly lovely little dog who, with the right guidance and gentle support, will blossom into a wonderful companion, please consider offering this special boy the chance he’s been waiting for.
