  • Human family requirements

I would like a home filled with love and kindness!

  • Other pet requirements

I could live with other dogs or be an only dog. But no cats!

  • House and garden requirements

I’m active and would love a large, secure garden to let off steam.

  • Out and about requirements

I’d enjoy one or two quiet walks a day and plenty of cuddle time.

  • Training needs

I have lived in a home, but will need to learn house training.

  • Medical issues

I have a low grade slipping patella in my left leg that is being monitored.

Isla originally came to us from a breeder. She later found her way into a loving home, but has sadly been returned to rescue through absolutely no fault of her own. With her squidgy little face, cheeky tongue and comical “chicken drumstick” legs, Isla is the kind of dog who makes you smile just by being in the room.

As everything in home life is still relatively new to her, Isla will need gentle guidance as she continues to learn skills such as housetraining. Although, she has lived in a foster home for a short period of time and was almost 100% clean in the house, with a few understandable accidents here and there. She is a clever, eager little girl who just needs someone to show her the way and be patient while she settles.

Isla could happily be the only dog in the home where she can lap up all the love and affection, but she could also live with another kind, playful companion. If she was homed with another dog, she would be best suited to laid back male dog who was around her size or larger. However, we do believe that Isla would prefer to be the only dog in her home where she can soak up all of the attention, rather than having to share and will need a home without small furries. Since Isla absolutely adores human attention, she can be homed with dog-savvy kids who allow her time to settle in, and of course can offer plenty of love.

Like many French Bulldogs she has a couple of breed-related health considerations. She has a low-grade slipping patella in her left leg, and her facial folds will need regular cleaning. She has already undergone a nasal wedge surgery to help improve her breathing, please note that any issues relating to these will not be covered by insurance. She is currently being treated for itchy skin.

Isla is one in a million; full of joy, cuddles and character. With time, love and a cosy spot on the sofa, she will make the most wonderful, loyal and entertaining companion.
