Tally the Explorer is Ready to Steal Your Heart

Tally is a 3-year-old Maltese cross Poodle who has come to us from a breeder in Ireland, now dreaming of her forever home. She arrived shy and uncertain, but since moving into foster care, this little lady has blossomed into a confident, cuddly companion who’s full of love and charm.

In her foster home, which she shares happily with several other dogs, Tally has truly come out of her shell. She walks beautifully on a lead and harness and absolutely loves her walks. Whether it’s a long countryside adventure or just a potter around the garden, Tally would thrive in a home that can offer her plenty of time outdoors to sniff, explore, and enjoy life.

Although she was once dependent on her doggy friends for confidence, she’s now also very people-focused and adores human company. Tally will happily follow you around the house and loves to snuggle up for a cuddle. She’s so fond of affection, she’ll gently nudge her way past the other dogs to make sure she’s first in line for love. She’s also been wonderful with dog-savvy children visiting her foster home and enjoys gentle strokes and attention from them too.

Tally is still young and full of life, with a playful and affectionate nature that makes her a joy to be around. She had never lived in a home before coming to Many Tears, so adopters should be patient as she continues to learn new things like house training and building confidence in unfamiliar situations. She’s doing brilliantly, but kind guidance and reassurance will help her truly flourish.

Tally will need a home where someone is around most of the time, as she thrives on companionship. While she could possibly live as an only dog in the very right circumstances, she would be happier with a kind and calm resident dog who could offer her company when you're out. What matters most is that her new family can give her the cuddles, care, and adventures she craves.
