A Gentle Heart Ready to Heal

Daisy is a 4-year-old ex-breeding Beagle who came to Many Tears having never known the comfort of a warm home or the kindness of gentle hands. When she first arrived, Daisy was a shut-down little soul, frightened of the world and unsure of everything around her. But with time, love, and patience, Daisy is starting to blossom.

Now in foster care, Daisy is discovering what it means to feel safe. She has been completely clean in the house, sleeps soundly downstairs with the other dogs, and often takes herself off to her crate for a peaceful rest or a quiet snuggle with one of her Beagle foster friends. She’s learning to walk on a harness, especially when she has another dog to follow, and though she’s still a little shy about it, she enjoys her daily walks and all the sniffs along the way.

Daisy is playful with her dog companions and adores being part of a pack. She will need at least one confident resident dog in her forever home to be her role model and comfort. She watches other dogs closely and learns from them, whether it’s exploring new places, accepting affection, or understanding household routines and sounds.

While she may take time to bond, once Daisy knows you, she’ll quietly approach for a fuss and share her soft, trusting nature. Because of her gentle, sensitive personality, Daisy will need a calm and quiet home, ideally adult-only. She travels well in the car and has shown real resilience as she adapts to her new life.

What Daisy needs now is a forever family who will continue to show her that life can be safe, kind, and full of love. She may never be the boldest girl, but her sweet nature, quiet bravery, and gentle spirit will melt your heart.

If you have space on your sofa and in your heart for a special Beagle girl who’s just beginning her journey, Daisy could be the one to make your house feel complete.
