Helena Is Blossoming Into a Playful, Cheeky Little Star

Helena is a beautiful 1-year-old Cockapoo who has come to us from a breeder to find her very first home. This petite girl is still finding her feet, but she’s already showing just how much love and fun she has to give.

When Helena first arrived, she was very shy and uncertain about the world around her. She would watch from a distance, only approaching when she felt safe enough for a gentle fuss. Now, with time and patience, she’s beginning to come forward much more confidently. She’ll even come over to say hello and offer a soft little lick to your hand—a small gesture that shows just how far she’s come.

Helena has a playful side that’s growing by the day. She loves her toys and enjoys running around, so she’ll need a kind and confident resident dog in her new home to help her feel safe and join in the fun. She would thrive in a calm, supportive environment with adopters who can go at her pace. While she would still be best suited to a quiet adult home, she could now also live with gentle, dog-savvy teenagers who understand that she may need time and space to settle.

Helena has never lived in a home before. She’ll need help learning how to walk on a lead, get used to everyday household sounds, and become confident with house training. She’s started some harness training already, and we think she’ll pick things up quickly with the right guidance and lots of praise.
