  • Human family requirements

I need a quiet home where I won’t be overwhelmed while I settle in at my own pace.

  • Other pet requirements

I need a resident dog to help me feel safe and can't live with cats or small furries.

  • House and garden requirements

I'm an active breed but still unsure of humans, so a secure garden would be great.

  • Out and about requirements

I can walk on a lead and harness and love to explore quiet areas.

  • Training needs

I am in a foster home now so am learning all about home life and house training.

  • Medical issues

I have been spayed and am ready to find my forever home!

Hicory is a shy girl who came to us from a breeder ready to start her new life. She has since moved to a foster home where she is settling in well and trying so hard to be brave. She loves other dogs and will need another kind and confident resident dog in her new home to be her friend and help her to settle in. She loves to sleep quietly cuddled up to another dog and is happy to be left home alone for short periods as long as she is with other dogs.

Hicory had never lived in a home before moving to her foster home and is slowly starting to learn all about home life as well as picking up new skills like house training. She had learned to walk on a lead and harness and walks really nicely, but is understandably quite worried around busy traffic.

Hicory would like to find and calm and quiet adult home with adopters who will help her blossom into the wonderful girl that we know she can become. She would be best suited to a home without cats or small furries. She is a gorgeous girl that is just needing someone to take a chance on her and show her all about what love is.
