  • Human family requirements

I can live with dog-savvy children, and would love a warm and understanding home.

  • Other pet requirements

I could live with other dogs or be an only dog but I haven't met cats yet.

  • House and garden requirements

I’m worried and will need a secure garden to learn about being outside.

  • Out and about requirements

I haven't learned to go for walks just yet.

  • Training needs

I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training.

  • Medical issues

A bite size detail for you, I've had 30 teeth removed! Soft treats and meals for me!

Heather originally came to us from a breeder as a worried little lady, doing her best to be brave. Over time, she began to come out of her shell, curiously approaching to see what all the hustle and bustle was about—and slowly but surely, her tail began to wag more and more each day.

Heather is now in foster care, where she’s absolutely thriving. We can only imagine she’ll continue to blossom in her forever home. With her growing confidence, her foster believes she could happily be an only dog, as she’s not particularly fussed about the other dogs in the home. She’s becoming a true lap dog and would love nothing more than to soak up all the cuddles and attention for herself.

That said, Heather could also live with another calm and gentle resident dog who doesn't mind sharing the spotlight or their adopter’s lap with her.

She’s making great progress with her house training and continues to learn new skills, which will need to be supported in her new home. Heather is an absolute star and is more than ready for her happily ever after.

Heather can live with dog-savvy children aged 10 and up, as she’s shown she enjoys their company and is happy to sit with them.

Please note: Heather had 30 teeth removed during her spay, so she will require a soft food diet moving forward.
