20-03-25 This little lady is Mint and she has come to us from a breeder ready to find her forever home. She is a very timid soul at the moment who is quite worried and overwhelmed to find herself here. She is quite touch sensitive and doesn't yet understand that human hands can be kind and is very worried about our intentions. She will be looking for a calm and quiet, adult only home with adopters who have experience with scared ex-breeding dogs. She loves her kennel friends and relies on them for comfort, so will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home to be her friend and take her under their wing. She has never lived in a home before so her adopters will need to be kind and understanding as she settles in and learns all about home life as well as new skills like house training. She has also never walked on a lead before and so will need to practice wearing a lead and harness, first around the home and garden until she is confident enough to venture outside into the big wide world. We can tell that Mint is a little sweetheart, she just needs lots of time, love and kindness as she starts to come out of her shell at her own pace, so please don't leave her waiting too long. Mint had one tooth extracted at the time of her spay.
