  • Human family requirements

I’d be happy with dog-savvy children who respect my space.

  • Other pet requirements

I need a resident dog to help me settle in and I have never met cats.

  • House and garden requirements

I’m active and would love a large, secure garden to let off steam.

  • Out and about requirements

I have lots of energy and need an active home that loves adventures.

  • Training needs

I am in a foster home now so am learning all about home life and house training.

  • Medical issues

I have very dry eyes and have also had 16 teeth extracted.

Kenya is a beautiful girl who spent her early life as a show dog before coming into our care. She has settled wonderfully into her foster home, where she’s showing off her happy personality and ever-wagging tail! Inquisitive, affectionate, and full of character, Kenya is truly ready for the next chapter of her life.

Although Kenya has very poor vision, she doesn’t let this hold her back one bit. She navigates her world with confidence and curiosity, and her zest for life is a joy to see. She has dry eye and requires eye drops several times a day, but is a very good girl and allows you to do this with no fuss. At the time of her spay, Kenya also had 16 teeth removed, so she would benefit from a soft food diet moving forward. She recently ripped one of her dew claws off, so has had a round of antibiotics and pain management for this.

Kenya is a real social butterfly with other dogs. She loves canine company and would be happiest in a home with another kind, playful resident dog to be her friend and companion. She enjoys playtime and cuddles with her doggy pals and gets along well with dogs both big and small. We would also consider homing her with dog-savvy teenagers who will enjoy helping Kenya settle and thrive.

Kenya has adapted wonderfully to home life in foster, she is house trained, sleeps well through the night, and walks beautifully on a lead although can be excitable at first. She is already showing how much she will enjoy going on walks and fun adventures with her new family.

She also adores toys, especially tennis balls, so we’re hoping her forever home will come with a good supply to keep her tail wagging!

Kenya is an absolute sweetheart with so much love and joy to give. She’s truly ready to find her forever family, so please don’t let her wait too long.
