  • Human family requirements

I need a calm and quiet, adult only home where I can get lots of TLC.

  • Other pet requirements

I need a resident dog to help me settle in and cannot live with cats.

  • House and garden requirements

I would like a secure garden to spend time in.

  • Out and about requirements

I am starting to learn about wearing a harness, but I'm still very unsure.

  • Training needs

I am in a foster home now and am 99% toilet trained.

  • Medical issues

I have had 1 tooth extracted as well as a mammary lump removed.

Velvet has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home, she was a little worried when she first arrived but is starting to come out of her shell now. She can be timid when she first meets new people, but will then roll over for tummy rubs. She is trying so hard to be brave and will give you a little waggy tail.

Velvet relies on her doggy friends for comfort and so will need at least one other kind resident dog in her new home to be her friend and companion.

Velvet had never lived in a home before, but she has now moved to a foster home where she is settling well and is already 99% house trained. She sleeps quietly overnight beside her fosterers bed, cuddled up to the resident dogs.

She enjoys visiting the secure field, but is still quite unsure of walking on a lead and will need more practice with this to gain confidence.

With lots of love and TLC, we don't think it will take her too long to come out of her shell and blossom into the most wonderful girl!

Velvet has had one tooth extracted at the time of her spay as well as a mammary lump removed. Velvet has a travel document.
