Moose is a handsome poodle who has come to us from a breeder. This sweet boy is beginning a brand-new chapter in life, and while he is still finding his feet, his gentle spirit is shining through more each day.

When Moose first arrived, he was shy and unsure of kind human hands. But with time, patience, and the steady companionship of other dogs, his confidence has grown beautifully. Moose hasn’t lived in a home before, so he will need help with house training. He can now walk on a harness, but can be nervous in unfamiliar areas. These are all new experiences for him, but he’s taking baby steps forward and starting to understand that good things lie ahead. He’ll need a patient family who can guide him with kindness and celebrate each milestone along the way.

Moose will need a home with at least one resident female dog to help him feel safe and continue building his confidence. He wouldn’t be suited to a home with male dogs.

Moose has received treatment for mucky ears, including having them plucked, cleaned and flushed. He would benefit form a hefty diet with plenty of treats as he is a bit skinny at the moment.
