Melon is Finding His Paws and His Personality

Melon is a 6-year-old Miniature Poodle who has come to us from a breeder and is now ready to begin his new chapter. Life in a home will be brand new for Melon, so he will need patient adopters who can help him learn about house training, walking on a lead, and all the little things that come with family life.

Melon is currently kenneled with dogs of a similar size and gets on well with both boys and girls, finding great reassurance in their company. He will need a calm and confident resident dog in his new home to help him feel safe and supported.

Melon has shown that he is a sweet-natured and easy boy to care for. He shares his food happily, trots in and out of his kennel like a pro, and even sits nicely for a bath and trim. He has just started coming forward for treats, which is a wonderful step for a dog like him who is still learning to be brave.
