Gentle Soul Reef Is Ready for His Forever Home

Reef is a stunning 6-year-old Collie who originally came to us from a breeder. He found kennel life overwhelming, as many sensitive Collies do, but since moving into foster care, he has truly begun to shine. Now living with three other Collies, Reef has settled in beautifully and is showing just what a kind, gentle, and well-mannered boy he really is.

Reef is house trained, travels calmly in the car, and walks beautifully on the lead, making him an absolute pleasure both in and out of the home. He has been clean from day one in foster and has excellent house manners. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and could happily live with canine companions, but he is also confident and content enough to be the only dog in the home.

This lovely lad has met cats too and showed no interest in them at all, so a home with confident, dog-savvy cats could be a good fit. Reef is a quiet boy who doesn’t ask for much, but he thrives on love and affection. He enjoys gentle fuss and loves being near his people.

As a Collie, Reef will need an active home where he can enjoy daily exercise and mental stimulation. In return, he promises to be the most devoted and loving companion.

Reef had never lived in a home before coming to foster, so everything has been new to him, but he has taken it all in his stride. He truly is a special boy and any Collie-loving home would be lucky to welcome him into their lives.
