Kyrie
Kyrie originally came to us from a breeder to find her forever home. She was very briefly adopted, but returned to her foster home after a few days through no fault of her own as her adopters felt they weren't the right home for her. She was very worried when she first arrived, but has settled in well to her foster home and is slowly starting to come out of her shell. Kyrie can now walk on a lead and loves to go to a secure field to run around with her canine friends. She is also adjusting well to home life and is now toilet trained, although may need some reminders in her new home.
Kyrie is a very sweet little girl who does enjoy a gentle fuss once she gets to know you. She will be looking for a calm and quiet home, where there is at least one other kind and confident resident dog, preferably another Cavalier, to be her friend and take her under their wing. She cannot be homed with cats but could live with gentle, dog savvy older children who would allow her to settle in at her own pace.
Kyrie has a Grade 1 heart murmur, she doesn't require any medication for this, but it's something her adopters and their vet will need to monitor. She also has low grade luxating patella in one of her hind legs, which isn't causing her any problems at the moment and could improve with gentle exercise. However should it require any treatment in the future, this would not be covered by insurance. Kyrie is such a little sweetheart, we can't wait to see her find her forever home.
