25-09-25 Please meet the very handsome Garfield who has found his way to us after being abandoned and left to stray. It’s hard to believe that such a wonderful cat could have been left behind, as Garfield is one of the sweetest and most affectionate boys you could ever wish to meet.

From the moment you enter the cattery, Garfield will trot straight over to greet you, purring loudly and rubbing against you, asking for love and attention. He is a true lap cat and absolutely adores snuggling in for cuddles, where he’ll happily stay for as long as you let him. When he’s not enjoying fuss and company, Garfield can usually be found snoozing contentedly in a cosy bed and of course, he absolutely loves his food!

Like his famous namesake, Garfield is quite chunky, so he will need his portions measured carefully to help him slim down and lose the excess pounds. With the right balance of love and care, we know he’ll soon be in his best shape.

Garfield could be homed as an indoor-only cat, but we would also consider a home where he was allowed outdoor access, as long as it was in a quiet area away from busy roads. His new family will need to keep him indoors for the first few weeks while he settles, bonds with you, and learns that he is finally safe and loved.
