Penny

15-03-26 Penny has come to us from a breeder, along with some other cats, to find her forever home. She is a beautiful but scared little girl who is feeling quite overwhlmed at the moment.

When Penny first arrived, she would choose to hide away and clearly wasn't used to being touched or handled and found it very worrying. Since then, she has started to come out of her shell and will now greet her favourite member of staff every morning. She loves treats and food and this seems to be the way to her heart. She is still a scared little girl, but she is happy to let you give her a little fuss and affection once she knows you.

She has never lived in a home environment before, so she will need plenty of time, patience and TLC as she adjusts to home life. In the right home, with kind and understanding adopters, she will start to come out of her shell and begin to explore.

Penny could be homed as an only cat or she could be homed alongside one of her friends that she arrived with. In the right circumstances, she could also be homed where there were other cats or pets, but any introductions would need to be done very gradually.

As she has never been outdoors, Penny will need to be kept as an indoor-only cat to keep her safe. Access to a secure catio would be a lovely bonus, allowing her some fresh air and enrichment in a controlled environment, though this is not essential.

Penny is looking for a calm and quiet home with experienced cat adopters where her new family can give her the time she needs to adjust. With patience and kindness, we believe this sweet girl will slowly learn to trust and will make a very special companion for the right family.
