Chilli

02-03-26 Chilli has come to us from a breeder, along with 23 other cats, to find his forever home. He is a very scared little boy who is very overwhelmed to find himself here at the moment, when he first arrived he was a little on the spicy side, but with each passing day he has settled in and started to relax.

Despite his worries, he has already started to enjoy a gentle head and bum scratch as long as you go slowly. He clearly isn't used to being touched or handled, so his adopters will need to take things very slowly at his pace. He has never lived in a home environment before, so he will need plenty of time, patience and TLC as he adjusts to home life. As he starts to settle in, he will begin to come out of his shell and we think beneath his fears there is a sweet boy waiting to emerge.

We are told that Chilli can be dominant with other cats and so for this reason he will be looking for a home where he can be the only cat.

As he has never been outdoors, Chilli will need to be kept as an indoor-only cat to keep him safe. Access to a secure catio would be a lovely bonus, allowing him some fresh air and enrichment in a controlled environment, though this is not essential.

Chilli is looking for a calm and quiet home with adopters who have experience with cats and who understand that he may take some time to settle in and before he is comfortable being handled. With love, patience and TLC he will make the most rewarding companion.
