02-03-26 Chips has come to us from a breeder, along with 23 other cats, to find his forever home. He is a very scared boy at the moment who is very overwhelmed to find himself here and needs time and patience as he starts to settle in.

Chips initial instinct is to hiss at you, but this is just through fear as he much prefers to hide away from you. He clearly isn’t used to much handling or attention yet and so his adopters will need to take things slowly at his pace. He has never lived in a home environment before, so he will need plenty of time, patience and TLC as he adjusts to home life. As he settles in he will begin to come out of his shell and grow in confidence.

Chips could be homed as an only cat or he could be homed alongside one of his friends that he arrived with. In the right circumstances, he could also be homed where there were other cats or pets, but any introductions would need to be done very gradually.

As he has never been outdoors, Chips will need to be kept as an indoor-only cat to keep him safe. Access to a secure catio would be a lovely bonus, allowing him some fresh air and enrichment in a controlled environment, though this is not essential.

Chips is looking for a calm and quiet home with adopters who have experience with cats and who understand that he may take some time before he is comfortable being handled. With kind and patient adopters, he will slowly start to come out of his shell.

Chips has a travel document.
