15-03-26 Peanut has come to us from a breeder, along with some other cats, to find her forever home. She is a very pretty girl who has found the recent changes in her life quite overwhelming and is understandably feeling worried at the moment.

Although Peanut will allow a little fuss, she isn’t used to much handling or attention yet. Since arrival, she has started to settle in and come out of her shell, but can hiss on occasion when she's feeling worried. She will now take treats from you and accepts a little fuss when she's in her bed.

She has never lived in a home environment before, so she will need plenty of time, patience and TLC as she adjusts to home life. In the right home, with kind and understanding adopters, we are sure she will begin to blossom and show her true personality.

Peanut could be homed as an only cat or she could be homed alongside one of her friends that she arrived with. In the right circumstances, she could also be homed where there were other cats or pets, but any introductions would need to be done very gradually.

As she has never been outdoors, Peanut will need to be kept as an indoor-only cat to keep her safe. Access to a secure catio would be a lovely bonus, allowing her some fresh air and enrichment in a controlled environment, though this is not essential.

Peanut is looking for a calm and quiet home with experienced cat adopters who understand that she will need time to come out of her shell. With patience and kindness, we believe this sweet girl will slowly learn to trust and will make a very special companion for the right family.
