Charcoal
02-03-26 Charcoal has come to us from a breeder, along with 23 other cats, to find her forever home. She is a young girl with her whole life ahead of her but is very overwhelmed and scared at the moment.
Charcoal does tolerate being stroked, but she is very worried about this and prefers to hide away and so her adopters will need to take things at her pace. She has never lived in a home environment before, so she will need plenty of time, patience and TLC as she adjusts to home life. As she settles in, she will start to come out of her shell and will let her true personality shine through.
Charcoal could be homed as an only cat or she could be homed alongside one of her friends that she arrived with. In the right circumstances, she could also be homed where there were other cats or pets, but any introductions would need to be done very gradually.
As she has never been outdoors, Charcoal will need to be kept as an indoor-only cat to keep her safe. Access to a secure catio would be a lovely bonus, allowing her some fresh air and enrichment in a controlled environment, though this is not essential.
Charcoal is looking for a calm and quiet home with adopters who have experience with cats and who understand that she may take some time to settle in and before she is comfortable being fussed. With lots of love and kindness, we think she will blossom into a truly wonderful addition.
Charcoal has a travel document.
