George

07-06-25 George is a little heartbreaker, who has come into our care after being found as a stray a few months ago. He was kindly taken in by some wonderful people who gave him a safe place to stay, but sadly they could no longer keep him. Now George is with us, hoping to find his purrrfect forever home.

George is the sweetest boy who is in need of love and TLC. Understandably, he’s feeling extremely overwhelmed at the moment and is quite frightened to find himself here. At the moment he prefers to spend the day hiding in his cat bed and won't even lift his head up to look at you. He will venture out of his safe bed to use the litter box and eat his food when nobody is around. Despite his worries he is easy to handle and is a very gentle soul.

What George needs most is a calm and quiet home where he can take things slowly at his own pace. We are told that when he was living in a home for a few months, he was curious and would explore the home. With patience, love, and kindness, we’re sure George will start to feel more comfortable and settle in once more.

George would be best suited to a home where he could be an indoor cat and kept safely inside. If he had a secure catio to enjoy this would be a benefit but not essential.

George is litter box trained, but may need a few gentle reminders and a bit of understanding as he adjusts to new surroundings.

This special boy is looking for someone to give him the time and kindness he needs to feel safe and loved. In return, we know he’ll give his whole heart. Could you be the one to give George the peaceful forever home he’s dreaming of?

George has arrived missing a few teeth and has had one extracted at the time of his neuter. He is also being treated for a ear infection.
